I learned early that complex systems only run when their fundamentals are sound. Two decades in the markets later, I find the very same truth in portfolios.
An MBA, and a decade at Kotak, taught me what wealth looks like at scale — and how often it is interrupted by impatience, by noise, by the impulse to act. I earned the CFP® mark not for the certificate, but for the discipline it asks of the planner.
Today I lead Shrey Wealth, the advisory I founded — independent, advice-first, with no proprietary product to push. We serve a deliberately small set of families, and much of the real work is invisible, because the best wealth advice is often the conversation that prevented a costly decision.
The portfolio is a small part. The judgment around it is the rest.
